Dr. H K Shankarananda is basically an E & C Engineering graduate from Vijayanagara Engineering College, Ballari. He has completed his Master Degree at Basaveshwara Engineering College, Bagalkot. He has been awarded Doctoral Degree in the year 2022 from JJT University, Rajasthan. He has joined the institution as Lecturer in Electronics & Communication Engineering department in the year 1991. He served the institute in various capacities of Lecturer, HOD, Vice Principal and has vast experience in the field of teaching. He is a person who believes in WORK IS WORSHIP and always strives for the development of the institute. During his tenure, he has taught various subjects such as Analog, Digital, and Communication Engineering. He has written two text books on Data Communication & Networking, and Advanced Communication. He was a member of curriculum revision committee for revising 5th & 6th Semester E & C Engineering Board syllabus. He has coordinated various Faculty Development Programs in the institute. His hard work and dedication towards betterment of the institution and his administrative capabilities have given positive impact towards substantial growth of the institute. He has taken charge as Principal from 1st January 2024, after the retirement of Sri. Y.M. Umashankar on 31/12/2023.
